  • Lower Delta Swamp Wildlife Eco-Safari- Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun
    During this Lower Delta Interpretive Tour, we will float amongst the open Marsh watching for and learning about a variety of wildlife including Alligators, Bald Eagle, Osprey, Heron, Cormorant, Pelicans, Nutria, Otters and more. Learn about the Civil War, the history, the Native American tribes, the geology, the ecology and the characters of the Delta. Commentary provided by qualified Delta Nature Guides. This is a 1.5 hour interpretive boat tour.
    Cost: $25 for Adults, $19 for Seniors, $15 for Children ages 6-15, 5 and Under are FREE.
    Departs: Daily at 11am. Min. 8 people required for departure.
    What To Bring:Cameras, suncream/hats (especially for the kids), food and drink (welcome onboard).

  • Bottle Creek Indian Mound Tours:

    Delta Safaris is pleased to announce Bottle Creek Indian Mound Boat Tours on Sunday, October 6th. Thes 3.5 hour tours are scheduled from 8am, 12pm and 4pm, and departs from Lower Bryant Landing in Stockton, AL.

    Immerse yourself in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta as you march back 800 years to the Native American tribes of the region. These tribes were part of a Mississippian mound-building culture. Upon reaching Bottle Creek deep in the heart of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, guests will learn about their sports, housing, food and culture. Accessible only by boat, this is a 3.5 hour interpretive tour via motor boat that also includes a reasonable hike through the Delta, culminating in climbing the highest hand-built Indian Mound on Mound Island at 45ft. During this tour, in addition to the history of the delta and Indian Mounds, your guide will introduce you to both the fauna and flora of the middle Delta's cypress swamps. Tour Includes: Boat Transportation, bottled water and guide service. Tour Cost: $50 for Adults, $35 for Children. Reservations are required.
